"After Football Slay Trip"

After watching the Hawks barely scratch out a win I thought I need to calm my nerves on my old stomping grounds. Walked into my favorite fishing hole and was pleased a few of the snags had removed themselves from the river. Fish were boiling everywhere and I knew it was gonna be a great day with my 2 buddies. We all started float fishing using cured shrimp tipped on a jig and we all hit fish on the first cast, this mayhem continued for the next 5 hours. We caught and released a hole mess off dark hens and some big scrappy bucks. Lost a Silver and a Steelhead. but took home a nice limit of chromer egg wagons, the nice guys even let me keep the eggs!

One thing i truly do enjoy about the Stilly is the people, everyone is really friendly, and the river banks are clean! no garbage, no foul language, no a-holes on the river. It was a great day for being able to sleep in, yell at the tv, then go straight slay on the river I learned how to fish on.
