Went out looking for my first fresh water Coho of the season - with no success. I did however see a few colored-up Coho surface, along with a few Kings. An encouraging sign, especially since the nets have been in. After 30 minutes of catching nothing I switched to pink gear. We were busy catching and releasing pinks for the remainder of the evening. Probably fished for 2 more hours, releasing about 10 fish between two anglers and lost easily 12 more. One of the fish looked as if it had just barely escaped a predator (pic below), but still chomped my jig. The new and improved home-ties are the ticket! The guys next to us were doing well also and two of them got limits on squid jigs (legally hooked and recorded).

Started higher up in the system in Kent/Tukwila area and ended up down further, near George Town and South Park. All fish were caught on an incoming tide to boot!
