9/16/2013 8:27:00 AMCorrect, anywhere up river from the mouth of the White. I will say, I did see a couple nice silvers landed while I was there.......but they were landed illegally! There was a whole line of guys wading out past the confluence and fishing into the mouth of the White! The game warden did finally show up and cleared out everyone fishing in closed waters. Didn't see him write any tickets...but he should have. That was some BS that those guys got to keep those silvers and not get fined for illegally fishing. We had been yelling at those guys all morning that they were in illegal waters and they just didn't care.

9/16/2013 11:36:00 AMI understand why people "don't care". Its probably more that they do care and the rules are very frustrating. But, its better if we all just follow the rules as they exist because causing problems with just give the opposing parties more reason to try to shut down the river entirely later. Be thankful for what we have.

My biggest beef is that they closed the river on Labor Day when they knew damn well a lot of people would be fishing and then every weekend after that for the month? Cose it during the week when everyone is working and leave the weekend to us. Just my 2cents. I report those breaking the rules too. A smart phone with a great camera and the report line on speed dial is how I roll
