Lots of fish out there still! Unfortunately they are playing hard to get, we saw tons of jumping/boiling pinks and a good number of silvers jumping around high tide and slowly tapered off until we left around 11:30 AM. The guys in the boats right on top of the fish did not seem to be catching much and decided to move on after maybe 30-45 minute stints.

I ended up meeting up with my dad an hour late and I was that guy that shows up late and lands a fish right away haha... but no more after that, there were 3 fish between maybe 5 of us.

The pink I caught was a little slimy but moderate color still. I ate half tonight and it was like a typical pink but smoking is probably best at this point. I will note that this pink hit close to shore and it did not seem like much of a fight compared to two weekends ago, but maybe it was the range from the bank that made the difference...

I am glad it wasn't raining while we were out fishing, because the wind and decreasing air temp would have made that much less enjoyable. Overall I had a great time and am glad I brought something home :)
