Started on the carbon today but nothing was happening. Decided to cut our losses and hit the green because we knew fish were there. We just wanted to have some fun and catch some fish since we werent getting any silvers out of the carbon. Steady action on the pinks in the green. But look at the monster my buddy caught. This thing had to be 20 to 25 pounds. He had it out just long enough to snap this pic, then he revived it and off it swam. I also hooked into a king, probably around 10 lbs, but it ended up coming unbuttoned as I was getting it close enough to land.

That rain was freaking nuts today and it's still going. Rivers are gonna be a mess for a few days.

*Editor's Note - photo removed from report. As noted in the comments, it's unlawful to take a salmon or steelhead out of the water if not legal to keep said fish, and fish is kept. This rule has officially become the most ignored rule in the regs pamphlet.

Your buddies hand is in the gills of a wild king...not to mention it's out of the water.

Play again you say?? That my friend is clearly stated in the reg book; "unlawful" to take any salmon or steelhead that is illegal to retain(Native King?) or is going to be c&r cannot be taken out of the water.. and the hand up the gills? again Learn to read the regulations. like u claimed to know so well how to do last week.

The regulation books are free and they will allow you to take 5 at a time. I suggest you try reading them.
