Let me start by saying it was a great fishing day on the bank of the Skagit, right around were the water splits before it goes into the sound from about 7am to 12pm. This was my first time "ever" fishing on the Skagit. It took some time to find the sweet spot, but when I did I nailed some fish big time. Lost about 5 fish total and caught 3 pinks for the smoker and 1 really nice coho, fist one ever for me... EVER! limited out pretty quick. I used one of those pink and white humpie spoons. That's all I used the whole time, casted only about 20 to 30 feet out only. there are still humpies if you want them, but the silvers are in. I'll be out again soon. 2 hens 1 buck and 1 buck silver. Good day fishin. Stay safe and fish on!

It's about 2" long and about 3/4 across, got it from the triangle mart here in Snohomish. Damn right I kept that ugly buck! it's smoked up and taste's pretty damn good. Had to bring something home to make the wife happy.

Yea I get you there. Keep the wife happy, I deal with the same lol. I have been laid up and won't be able to fish until the Chums. And winter Steelies. BUT I have to get Chums to smoke since I miss Humpies and Silvers ( except winter Peninsula fishery). Chums aren't any better than the Buck there Guru. Like you say. "They still Smoke good". Tight lines. Wish I were on the water.
