Decided to head down and try to fish in the mud after the game on sat. I got to the 112th area around 3:30 I tried drifting eggs, bobber and eggs, #4 & #5 vibrax, and a jig under a float. All to no avail. I saw lots of silvers jumping so I knew they were in and it kept me going in the occasional hard core rain.

I moved around a bit from 112th all the way up to the I5 area. I fished the banks hard due to the river level, it finally payed off over by allen town. I got one dime bright hen around 6:00 on a orange rabbit fur. She hit real hard and didnt fight much on the way in. I feared it was a side hooked pink due to water color and the lack of fight. I was pleasantly surprised to see a coho hooked in the mouth. I bled hear and headed home for dinner. She measured at 24" and im guessing about 4 lbs.

Good luck out there, be careful with all the debris coming down the river.

If the fish get much bigger, you're going to need a bigger knife! Nice work, it's been tought there on the Duwi to get 'em to bite. You're not the only one.

@ NFC I wish I could claim that, its just how they were laying on the board. I should try as I feel a lot of belly meat is lost at times

Hmm, last Friday AM was down there all alone, more near Allentown, two big bites on #5charteuse spinners and one 18" jack on eggs , released....all within an hour, water off color a bit but not really moving fast enough to effectively fish eggs, before the big rains, slabs jumping all over-then heard a big splsh, a seal moved up and was eating a salmon every 50 yards over a 100 yard span-bite off!
