Wow! This has been an amazing week of fishing! Lots and lots of silver decided to come home all at once. It has been great fishing in the upper river, with ocean bright silver showing up every day. The pinks are ancient history, and we're trying not to hook them, but that doesn't always happen, so we have plenty of time to kill by catching fish. These silver are eating up SO good.

The usual tactics work at the usual spots, they are everywhere now and the pinks are thinning out so they're easier to find. Right now is the perfect time to drift the Skykomish for big fish days, and I have some dates available. It's going to be a lot of fun until the winter steelhead show up, but let's go get some coho while they're chrome!

Nice job, this is definitely the year for silvers. I talked to you at the cedar hole on the wallace, did you end up limiting out?
