It was an absolute ghost town out there Friday. We spent a few hours anchoring up in spots from 112th to the 1st ave bridge & didn't see any fish jump or any on the finder. No one was bank fishing & we only ran into one other boat out there. I knew it would be tough with the water so high but didn't expect it to be abandoned.

Did I miss a memo? Are all the fish on vacation? Is the pink run over?

The pink run has been over for a while. There should be silvers still coming in. I've been catching them the last few weeks.

I have been taking silvers for the last few weeks too but I have a feeling were going to be into chum season real quick because I am starting to see more and more dogs in the river and I have already caught a few. The silvers certainly were fished very hard this year in the mouth by nets and boats so they were a little gun shy as they moved up the river but hey this is the green! I am ready for the winter steel...

Pinks are gone. I was hammering silvers for about a week then they moved the nets up to 112th st. and the bite died.

I don't think the memo went out this year. I feel like I missed something somewhere myself. Keep wondering when the Coho are going to show up....and now wondering if they've already come and gone. I do know that I've not hooked a Pink in more than three weeks now. I see a few moldy oldies swim by now and again, but none are hitting my jigs/spoons like they previously were.

It feels like it went by really fast this year. It seems like the last few times we've been out, the river has just been dead quiet. We're going to dink around some salt water today & see if we can find anything lingering out there.
