Another rough day. Completely skunked again without a single bite. I had a few coho come up next to me in the river and they wouldn't take anything I threw at them. Store-bought eggs, fresh eggs from a pink I caught, cured eggs, jigs, yarn and corkie, plugs, spinners. You name it I tried it. Same story from everyone I passed or was passing by. My brother and I tried so many spots it was more of a hiking adventure than a fishing trip.
I'm curious if I'm missing any tips and tricks. Is there a specific cure for coho that works better? I used BorX O Fire for the cure and followed the instructions. Are there scents that work better? Or a specific presentation?

No other tricks can work when theyre tight lips no matter what u throw at them. I notice the more people fish the spot the more tougher fishing will be.less people more action.fish get spooked.

Salmon are sulfite junkies, the more sulfite in your cure the better, borax-O-fire has no sulfite, the cure works great but not as good as fire cure, i use fire cure, made by patzkue as well and after i roll them for about 20 min, i put in some salt, or you can add in some borax o fire to stiffen em up a little bit, i like a little bit stiffer egg but want an egg that milks out a lot but doesnt fall off the egg loop, everyone has an opinion on how they want their eggs so you can make them however you want, but salmon love the sulfite so i go with fire cure, i went 1/3 last time i went, i know its not very good but i did also miss alot of bobber downs, sunday i went 2/2 on bucks and they slammed my handtied jigs with an Xfactor Miracle worm as a jig trailer. Just some tips on wallace fishin, i also have some unpressured holes if you wanna fish with us this weekend shoot me a pm. Tight lines
