Fished the Duwi this morning. Honestly today was more of a day to relaxing for me. Taking a short 3 day mini vacation away from work. Sun,mon,and tues. Woke up around 5. left the house at 630. went down to cowgirls to get me some coffee and a little extra eye candy.
Got the the river around 7 am. baited up my rod for some plunking. cast out, lit my pipe up with some rain city cigar blended pipe tobacco. And took in the view of the fog rolling along the river. 8 or so. Lo shows up. couple casts. fish on. Really?!?!WTF!

Reeled up my plunking gear, switched rods and started drifting eggs. After an hour, tap tap.....1 2 3..4...tap, its running.
set the hook. fish on. Lo comes running over with the net. O wait....its a jack.......i don't need a net, it was only about a half pound. lifted it up. stocker trout from green lake were bigger than this. threw it back.
Lo caught 4 more, having 5 fish. total. I left at noon.
slow day for me. running low on eggs. debating hard if I should go grab some rays eggs and recure them up.
Or just drift some dick nites
Also lots of dead/half dead pinks floating down, missing eyeballs, doing backflips, they were all over the river
Looking in the water, saw some crawfish swimming around.
