After getting skunked at the Wallace I decided to try my luck further down river. I fish by the hwy 9 bridge Sunday afternoon and as I was walking up to the spot I normally fish at a gentleman was leaving with his limit. I fished till about 4:30pm and had cough nothing but pinks. All the guys there that had been leaving with fish only used pink squid jigs. I cant seem to bring in a coho. I've never managed to catch one in my life and I would love to get that opportunity before there all gone. If any body has any tips or spots please PM me. Does anybody know when the run is over or when it was said to begin? And do all salmon spawn every year but just in lesser numbers? I also heard that there's still lots of fish to hit the river yet but we just need another good rain. And if anybody has a boat and is willing to boat pool up the river for some fishing that would be awesome, I can give gas money or just good company. Thanks guys and fish on!
