Fished on the Snohomish Saturday morning. First time in about a year to go by boat, hit the water by about 8, Dense fog and LOTS of boats(at least to me, in the 150ft I could see each direction at one point I counted 20 boats). We started around the mouth of the pilchuck, it was pretty slow. We had 1 hookup on a brads wiggle wart but lost it, saw 2 other fish caught in the 1 hour we spent here. Decided to move up river, found a spot by Thomas eddy, on opposite side of river that was holding some coho and a lot of skunky pinks. Landed 2 coho and lost 3 more, had to leave at 1pm. All fish were hooked on a silver plug with orange shading on the top. Didn't get a bite on any of the other colors.
I typically fish from the bank drifting corkies and yarn or float fishing eggs. Getting a bite while tossing plugs is a hole new addiction. I thought the fish were going to rip the pole out of my hand, on my way to the store to get some new plugs lol.
