All I gotta say is wow! Saw alot of fish rolling the surface, nothing was biting the egg. Switched to jig and sand shrimp immediately gets bite, hooked 4 fish kept only two and release a super dark red coho and a nice bright jack. And lost one cause my 6lb leader line broke

1. why would you use 6 lb leader on a coho?
2. why were you using a leader for a jig?
other than that nice fish and glad you could catch something. Ill be back from Arizona on Sunday and plan on killin it

You asking me question like i dont know to fish lol... anyway Bobber, 10 braid , 6lb leader and jig, Sorry for your concern that's how I like my setup. The spot I fish is a nice slack pool them coho are not a strong fighter fish all they do is roll and wrap line around them self humpies fighter harder than coho p4p. Iv caught 13 summer run steelhead few months back with same setup and it seem to be fine. Tell me your setup I be to learn. Thx for comment

Danggg!! thats really small leader for coho! Nice fish tho, looks like this setup works for you, i dont think Dj knew you were floating the jig, usually with twitchin, i tie them to the mainline, people might do different idk! nice fish once again!
