11/6/2013 6:45:00 PMAwesome! That's what I was thinking but i wanted to make sure. First ever steelhead for me. Drifting a green corky with a little shrimp scent and the steelhead inhaled it. Caught that within the first 5 minutes of being on the river yesterday. It was a pretty feisty little fish. Jumped clear out of the water at least 4 times. It was a lot of fun.

11/7/2013 8:30:00 AMThere are summer runs on the Green but they are mostly all native fish like the one in this photo. The angle just barely shows the adipose poking up. They range in size from that small 2-4lbs range up to lower teens. Generally I think it is best to treat these fish with kit gloves and try our best to help that dwindling return but I know a fresh dinner is hard to turn down legal or not.

11/7/2013 8:39:00 AMIt was a hatchery fish Duncan. The adipose fin was clipped. I wouldn't have kept it if it was a native fish.

11/7/2013 6:28:00 PMThe steelhead was caught in Auburn near Lea Hill. The chum was caught in the area around 180th. Mike, I'm pretty thick skinned but I wanted to make sure everyone knew that I'm not out there poaching :)
