Fished the Snohomish this morning before work and hooked up with this nice 6# hen. Seems like the rain brought in a few bright fish. Not a ton, but definitely some for the taking out there. Water was up a little this morning and I was fishing eggs under a float, in some slower water. The morning started slow and I was experimenting with the depth of my drift. I can tell you that I was nearly on the bottom when she took the bait, exactly where I was when I hooked up a few days ago. The other common factor seems to be wood, if you know what I mean. Sure would like to see a good push of fish with the rain expected tomorrow, but either way its nice to see some chrome in our local waters.
