Water Lever had just come up and still was rather low but good lots of fish CHUM mainly and big ones almost every cast a fish some good coho had to warch onlu can keep one wild at times everyone had a fish on I hooked several big fish including a monster KING that tried to strip my 25 lb braid and I have a good reel witha good drag stystem its a Shamano 3000 Newer type SUSTAIN C14 just gave that reel a real work out I wasnt about to YELL FISH ON and head down the river and interupt a doz fisherman but the thought crossed my mind I tried to wear it out I had my good rod n reel etc a G L Loomis 8 to 17 lb and a med heavy so I thought I could work but WOW!! it tugged and pulled all the way acrosss the River to the other side and started down the other side crossing all there lines finally a few guys cast over me and a my Braided line snapped first time had that happen!! A full five minutes made the trip worth it some monster Kings out there to be hooked into! I always enjoy the Humptulips fished at the mouth of the Hatchery at the creek unbeliable how many fish stacked up there!! Got Limits and fresh lookin fish nice day after the storm !! ITS FUN u KNOW!! Was good to hook up with the MAD RUSSIAN and hook into a few fish again hadnt fished together in a few months!! Was FISH ON!!!!
