I went to the mouth of Tokul Creek on the Snoqualmie near Fall City and hung out with 25 or so other Steelhead fisherman. From 7 am till noon I guess 3 fish were caught. River high, lots of fishing, not much catching. To the guy who decided to show up and stand 2 feet from me and start fishing, it is a big river, you don't need to stand Right next to me.

That's what happens when you fish the popular areas these days... Not saying he was in the right, because I to get irritated at the ones who try to keep warm by jumping in your pocket while fishing. Just saying anymore, it happens at the more known areas and some people dont care.... A bad day fishing is still better then a good day working...

I had a guy yesterday at Reiter who was not too close to me but he insisted on casting upstream only when my float was below his casting range. There is always at least one of these at the hatcheries....

Strider, Isn't that the right thing to do. Cast upstream from your float when it has passed you. Of course unless he was downstream from you :O

I was to the right of the mouth of the creek. I had my kid with me. His first day of Steelheading.
I went back today and saw one guy catch two fish from the Island nothing else
I had a few beers before I made my original post

if the water has risen any due to recent rain is there even any island left? 2 weeks ago it only needed about 4 inches to be underwater.
