I arrived at the bridge hole hwy 2 at 11:30 with the intention of trying for steelhead. There were some anglers there when I got there, but all anglers were gone by 1:30. I first started off throwing a size 3 chartreuse blue fox, and after 30 mins of casting and moving around the hole I got a fish.on! Turned out to be a 16" wild rainbow(steelhead?) It was released immediately. I tried drifting roe, and bobber dogging etc. no luck around 2pm I noticed several small trout hitting the surface near the tailout so I started bobber dogging a worm... After that it was game on. I c&rd 3 cutts and 2 whitefish, all around 10 to 12"... then at around 3pm I hooked into a dolly in the 3lb class fought it to shore and just as I was about to tail it, it rolled off ths hook :( I c&rd another rainbow trout and called it a day.
