Don't know why more anglers don't post for this lake, this lake has had lot of activity limits of trout being pulled out left and right. Had the day off Monday even with intermittent rain showers thought I'd give her a try. Doggedly unwilling to give up slip bobber even when all others bottom fishing. Fished 7' - 8' down from surface, limited out on planters 10" - 12" in roughly 2 hours late morning. I use Crappie rig with slip bobber tip weighted hook with pinch of worm and FLO ORANGE powerbait. Seems to be formula for local lakes, same rig over at Meridian, limited out in just one hour, caught my first holdover ever 3 pounder which broke my line 'cuz I had no net (at least I brought to surface so I could see it). On to the perch and the crappie!
