I started out at Big Eddy below the Gold Bar bridge and went all the way up to the tailout below Reiter. I hit every hole and rock on the way up and I didn't catch a single thing. It was a beautiful day and I'm glad I went, but there was nothing much doing out there. Talked to a few people, one guy said he started out at Reiter along with 50 or 60 other people and he only saw 6 caught. River definitely dropped and cleared up overnight so that didn't help anything. I did see an bald eagle munching on a wintered over old summer run buck at Proctor Creek, so at least somebody caught something. He pointed and laughed at me when I walked by huffing and puffing from hiking all day. I think I'm going to hit it a little lower in Sultan tomorrow. Good luck to everybody

Me and a few friends were on the Wallace Saturday. Just going by the numbers, fish should have been there, but they weren't. We also saw a bald eagle swoop down and grab a trout breakfast. Was pretty awesome to see. But didn't he know that was my fish? LOL
