Ok, did not fish in Snohomish County, but King! Fished David Powell side from 9:30-2:30, threw everything we had at 'em. Eggs, prawns, sand shrimp, various types of new scent from Graybills, spoons. Really surprised that we saw so little fish activity, maybe one or two rollers, with the water being perfect. Had a good friend with me from Yakima, we enjoyed the day-but did not see a fish caught or a hook up all day. Was told that the Eddy got 4 fish early, not my first choice for fishing , more fun and challenging to fish away from a terminal hatchery area. From talking to my friend, who is well connected with guides on the Eastern side ( and a few other friends covering water in other areas) all are struggling and the reality is the "big run" may not materialize. The few around get spooky with all the pressure, my fish have been caught when I have been all alone, but takes some time and from the looks of the smaller crowd out there yesterday-overall, people are probably getting frustrated. Tough times, but I think that's steelheading.
It appears Snoqualmie River proper is not listed in King, unless I missed something
