Got to the Sky around 8:00. Looked like it was going to be good day with the river being in good shape and not too many people on the water. Started at Proctor Creek and fished downstream almost to High Bridge. Didn't catch anything. So I fished all the way back upstream to Proctor and kept going all the way up to Reiter. Still didn't catch anything. Fished back downstream to Proctor, and you guessed it...didn't catch anything. I tried everything, even the old standbys and didn't even get a bump. So my prediction of that good push of water bringing in the herd was oh so wrong. I guess they aren't late, they're just not coming. Talked to a few people on my journey and it didn't sound like Reiter or downstream was producing much of anything. Nice day to be on the water though. Good luck everybody.
