Well my mom dropped me off at 9am at this hole that id like to keep secret even tho i know its not much of a secret, and i was fishin there for about 45 min and i had switched jigs a couple times tryin to get my first steelhead, well after a while i cast out by this fallen tree and as its floating past i watch my bobber slowly go under, so i set the hook hard and feel something fighting back and im really hoping its a steelhead, but it isnt fighting as hard as i would think a steelhead does, so i get it closer and it turns out to be a coho. Old nasty one! But i thought why not and got it on gopro anyways to test out my new gopro, then after that didnt get anything in that hole and walked all the way about 5 miles to the hatchery and eventually made it to the sherman hole where i ran into Natetreat, fished with him for a while he said he had gotten a steelhead and some coho, great guy he gave me some pointers then he headed off to reiter. Fished there till 5 then my mom picked me up at the hatchery. Good day i learned some things but im still on the quest for my first steel! Oh also fished with DannyL, he was fishin the bridge hole with me too. Heres the link to the video, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9xTUi6Pft_k

thanks for the report. Think i'll try the wallace. Last time i checked out the hatchery (a year ago) it was really high, so I'm interested to see how it is when its low. I can use some boot coho for my dog, plus I want to test out my new trout rod.

5 mile walk!!!! I'm going to try maybe half that. Down to the Sherman hole or the bridge. doesn't look that bad... on the mapp....

Woady, i don't know where your located but if i was me i head to the Skookumchuck if your targeting boot coho. As far as i hear the wallace doesn't got many left in it.

Hey guys the wallace closed for coho end of november i believe, so you cant keep em but they are still fun to C&R. And yea Weekend warrior is right, the wallace doesnt have many in it at all.
