Live near the lake. (up Mill Creek)
Had a couple of weeks off and did some fishing with my son, home from the service.
No hits on the creek with different lures. Went trolling in the lake with a small cowbell and spinner on the end. That did it. Averaged 3-7 fish a day, small to medium size. We just catch & release. Tried different lures on the side with no success. There is bass there too. Will try again after the weather changes. Was better when the sun came out. You'll see them jumping when it's good. When they start jumping, the fishing got better. No jumping, just caught a few.
Not a bad lake, average fishing, but you got to know what to use. They are more agressive toward spinners here.
