Nice morning up at Reiter on the HWY side... I parked at roughly 4:30 with more cars joining every 5 minutes or so. Floated several jigs from 4:45 on (White, pink, and orange)...guys up stream hooked and released a nice native at about 5:30. Saw one caught and a couple more hook ups on the Hatchery side at 6:05. In attempting to undo a snag... I wrapped my entire float presentation into a goat rodeo at about 6:15...sat down, cut and re-tied. After re-tying, I put on an orange jig from bradsjigs and had a solid bobber down with my first cast. Landed this nice 27" hatchery buck to send me off to work in a good mood. Guy just upstream from me hooked and landed another hatchery fish 5 minutes later. Great group of guys on the river this morning, fish seemed eager and overall weather and conditions were awesome...and having a fish in the box was a nice bonus.
