I gotta say, this season is starting to pick up. We've toughing it out on these guys, one here, one there, but the last couple of days have shown a significant presence of fish.
Not that it's red hot YET, but it will be soon! Today we got this guy on the spin and glo eggs. Back trolling, back bouncing eggs has been taking a majority of our fish, next up dogging roe through the long deep stretches. If you're on the bank, fish low or fish high, these fish are spread thin and not holding up. The prison hole, ranch and Wallace Flats are good options. Just don't park at the tracks, have to come up from the other side. Long walk, but sometimes you'll find fish where others don't.
I'll be running trips through the 31st for these guys, it's only getting better. Summer steelhead have been showing up too, but I've been targeting more kings. Always lots of dollies and cutthroat to fill in the days, so give me a call and we'll get you on a drift or bank trip.
