Thanks for cleaning up! Its disheartening and just plain awful to see so many rivers trashed. If we all do our part, we can make a difference.

I agree.Thanks.Melanie and I do volunteer litter pick-up for the state at the launches we fish, never fail to be amazed at the amounts.I got into a scene at the launch at Nahwatzul earlier this year when someone was going to clean and dump guts and heads into the water (right in front of LOTS of people fishing from shore. When I suggested (somewhat politely) that doing that degrades water quality and that if everyone that was fishing right there at the launch cleaned their fish there it would be an unbelievable mess he got indignant and one of his "buddies" wanted to fight me! When I mentioned that he must want to go to jail and/or the hospital he got all nasty and left in quite a huff.Guys like that should be buried under tons of rotten garbage. Bob R Bob R

I live near the elwah and solduc rivers,When I go out I always take a large garbage bag with me,can't remember the last time I didn't fill it.
I'm no green party nut but this is just plain disrespect and laziness,no excuse....Hope you don't have to keep up the good work.

There doesn't seem to be ant respect nowadays. I see it everywhere not just outdoors. If your a grandparent please push respect for both the enviroment and us old folk.

@ecofisherman: I believe I met you this Saturday at the carbon river (9/20), I was on the other side of the river as you were leaving. That was pretty cool, I saw you carrying out a bag of garbage so I just assumed it was you. lol
