Stopped out at the river near Heirman at around 9:30AM and shared the area with around 10 or so other anglers up and down river. After heading down the main trail and the river access trail for a second found a spot that seemed to have some activity with several fish rolling within the first 20 minutes and some decent (seemingly) decent water to fish. Ended up coming out empty handed with no hits or strikes or landed fishies.
Threw out a couple types of spinners and homemade jigs for most of the first hour (lower water conditions but no snags the entire day) and then moved onto doing some float fishing with about a 36" leader and well under about an oz of weight throughout the line to keep the rig inline with the float.
Several guys trolling up and down but no one really caught much that I could see. Saw more than a dozen fish rolling the few hours I was out there and a 15"-18" rainbow swim on right near me in the clear water as I was changing out leaders.
I Didn't catch any fish and it seems slow fishing right now for most, next big rain should help the productivity I hope.
