Showed up to the river by Reformatory Rd. in Monroe around 7:15. Found a spot to walk down to the river and saw there were quite a few anglers on both sides of the river already. I stayed until around 10:30 and saw lots of fish jumping. Some jumped completely out of the water and could see there were some nice size fish. Other than a little bull head being caught by a guy just down from us I never saw anyone catch anything. We tried orange and green Blue Foxs, I tried a couple spoons, tried doing a little plunking with some eggs and I got some nibbles but nothing hitting it. I'm guessing it was some little fish eating all my eggs off the hook but not big enough to actually bite the hook.
Gotta say I'm getting pretty frustrated with the Skykomish. Been fishing it since July when the King's were supposedly running and have yet to catch anything bigger than a couple inches. Not sure if I'm just not picking good places or using the right bait and tackle.
