Met up with my buddy Robb at o'dark-thirty this morning to bounce eggs on the Duwamish before work. A ton of fish pushed through while we were waiting for the magic hour to begin fishing. Looked like it was going to be a promising morning and it was. Robb and I have both been skunked the last two days, but that was about to change. At the allotted time we baited up and began to cast. On my fifth cast I felt a violent head shake, but missed the fish. Not to worry, there were more to come. Robb hooked up with a beautiful chrome Coho hen (5-6 lbs). A short while later he hooked up with a fiesty Jack (3 lbs). I ended up going 2/5. Landed two nice bucks (6-7 lbs and 4-5 lbs). Wanted to keep fishing, but the time clock was calling my name. With the amount of fish that went up before we started fishing I imagine the guys fishing higher on the Green must be getting some nice fish too. Looking forward to exploring some of my favorite spots up in Renton and Auburn the next couple evenings. They call it fishing, I call it a disease! Tight lines...
