Fished the Stilly this morning for Coho down near Silvana. Started out about 45 minutes before sunrise drifting a glow corky and then switched over to twitching jigs once the light had come up a bit more. I used numerous patterns this morning, including either 1/2 or 3/8oz sizes in Blue/Purple, Purple, and Black/Pink. Also used 1/4oz sizes in black/white with some blue flash, as well as orange/white. Worked the area over with a size 3 copper Vibrax and a size 4 gold Vibrax as well.

I personally didn't get any strikes (that I know of) but there were two fish caught that morning by another angler using spinners. I was there for about 3 hours and there were 4 other people there besides me in the time period as well, one of which was goodtimesfishing. It was nice to meet another member from the site and to be able to talk with him throughout the morning as we were casting.

There were a decent number of fish rolling and jumping throughout the morning. They are definitely there and the people who know what they are doing are catching them as well. As for me, this probably amounts to about my 12th trip to the Stilly between this year and last where I haven't caught a Coho. Still trying for my first one from this river!

Oh well, just got to keep at it.
