Since the Hawks played on Monday, I headed to the river on Sunday morning. It was very foggy and the water was clear and low. I was by myself for the first hours. The fish were rolling pretty good so I thought maybe this was the day.

I threw a 50/50 Dick Nite to start with...... not takers. Soon a couple of guys joined me. We fished for a while with not action. I switched to twitching a jig. I thought I had snagged the bottom so I didn't set the hook. As I was pulling it in my pole dripped. I had a Coho. Since I never set the hook, he jumped, looked at me and spit out my hook. I kicked myself for being so timid and not setting the hook.

The guy next to me switch to floating some eggs. Soon after he catch an immature Coho. About an hour later he landed a nice Coho that had a hint of color to him.

Even though I got skunked, it was nice to see someone land something.
