Got to the Everett Marina at around 7 with the intention of fishing the Shipwreck as usual. But the fog was so thick we went over to the restaurant and drank some coffee and had a breakfast sandwich until 8. But it was still too thick for us w/o radar so we ran my boat up the Sno. I use the term "ran' lightly since we could only do about 5 maybe 7 in the fog. Nearly ran into the end of a sawdust barge that was lining up for the 99 bridge.. Ran up above Lowell and it thinned out some. Anchored with spin glos/eggs also trolled plugs, talked to several other guys in boats, totally dead, nobody had fish and no rollers or jumpers.

Hope the fog clears soon so I can make a few more trips to the Shipwreck. We should have gone out in the afternoon.

I was thinking about trying late in the day also after the fog burns off, but wasnt sure if they bite later in the day, or if its only an early morning fishery only at the shipwreck.

I've never fished the Wreck in the afternoon. We usually quit around 1 maybe 2PM. They should hit in the afternoon I would think.

Watch out for the north wind in the late afternoon. You can see it coming, a black line of water will start moving down from the north. It doesn't always happen, but it's good to keep an eye out - especially if you have a smaller boat

Yeah no kiddin about that north wind. If you see that black line coming, tuck your tail and run. Got caught out on Possession Pt once, lucky to make it back. Had a couple of "oh shit" moments.
