We have been fishing Idaho's Clearwater hard almost everyday for the past two months, and fishing has ranged from just average to exceptional, but over the past few days we had a significant cold weather front move in that has drastically changed the way and places that we have been fishing. Over the past 3 days we have changed to fishing more of our winter time tactics. Fishing big deep holes with slow moving water. We have had the most success side drifting eggs and yard combinations, and between 4 fisherman the past two day they boated over 20 big steelhead. Now through the next 2 months is prime time to get in on some clearwater steelhead action.


Fish the Columbia, Snake, and Clearwater Rivers for salmon, steelhead, and sturgeon. For drift boat trips on Idaho's Clearwater and Washington's Grande Ronde rivers, we fish out of a 20x72 Willie Drift Boat.
