Went to reiter ponds this morning to check out the activity, possibly hit a steelhead. It was that or do some home chores. Water was still pretty high and there were a few fellow fishermen. I only saw one hatchery fish taken and that was it. I fished for three hours and not a sniff. Looked like the only fish taken bit on a pink and white jig under float. The day was clear and cold just like you would expect for winter steelhead. Awesome river, with the snow on the banks it made for some picturesque fishing.
