12/4/2014 8:00:00 PMBeauty, but that would be unusually large. I got a 28" fish this week that was 8 lbs, yours may be a bit longer but some of the experts on here can comment on length to weight -who cares though, that is great you got # 1, hope you get a lot more!

As a reference, earlier in the year I had a bonus day with 28" and 31" trout that weighed 8lbs and 10 lbs. That is right on scale with Bank drifter's report. Great catch and a beautiful fish!
