went out from the state park around 8:30 am there weren't many people out but the day started to heat up and around 10:30 11:00 it was around 89 degree surface water @ 50 degree anyway headed east to the sand dunes and found a good spot on that tall sand dune island. and fish off the bank and had no nibbles for an hour or two. so i decided to just troll around with a worm hoping to hook on to a large mouth or somthing. nothing........but after i switch over to a #6 flat fish crome with red spots and hooked on to a five plus Mr. walley and his buddy two pound at a depth of 10 to 15 feet of water and trolling on the 3rd speed setting. and cought a small mouth bass with a worm around two hours later. all by trolling. so over all it is slow but it pays off with patient good luck out there it. oh by the way the trout is not biting yet.
