The pink run is in full force! My brother in law and I went out this mornin. Got out at 6 and I had to leave at 7:30 for work. He hit it till about 2. 3rd cast and I had a fish on. It was like that all morning and apparently into the afternoon. I left with 8 landed, only 4 kept of course, and a handful of em lost. By the time my BIL left he had lost count at 30 landed. And tons lost. Awesome day. For all the new guys to the river and to those who are having trouble i'll give u what's working for us. 2 - 10mm corkies of any combo of pink, orange, black with orange or pink yarn. The yarn is very important as it catches in their teeth to give u more time for a good hook set. And the most important part: weight. Make sure you're only lightly tapping the bottom. If it's catching on rocks, lighten it up. I'm using 3/8th cannon balls for most the river 1/2 cb's for swift stuff. That"s it. Good luck everyone. Remember, there's plenty out there for everyone so be respectful, have fun, and very tight lines!
