This is a report for two seperate times fishing. Went to the Nooksack both in the morning and in the evening yesterday. Yesterday morning I did not get anything except an extremely fouled up reel that took me quite some time and about 80% of my line to get back into somewhat of a working order. Needless to say I was frustrated after that so I called it quits. Fished flynn bar and under the hannegan road bridge. Saw a few fish roll in both places. In the evening I went with one of my friends who hasn't caught any kind of salmon before so I hope my luck would change. We ended up getting 3 between us (two for myself one for him) In about an hour or so of fishing. Stoked he was able to get into one! All fish were in very good shape, especially the two I hooked into because they still had sea lice on them. Was casting and retrieving a pink dick nite and he was using a kind of darker orange dick nite (sorry I forget the exact color). All in all a great day =]
