Got up nice and early to get some pinks today. Got down to the water at 6:15 just before the sun came up. Fished a spot we found last year hard saw lots of fish jumping, even mix of kings and pinks. Threw just about everything at them jigs, spinners, drifted some yarn and fake eggs for a little didn't get a bite. My dad foul hooked a king around 7:50 after releasing it down stream we saw a bunch of fish just kinda schooling and a few guys were catching so we decided to pull up stakes and give it a try the fish were more concentrated and rolling everywhere. Tied on the jig I was twitching earlier without luck. Hooked one on my third cast and landed it bled it and a few casts later my dad misses one. I hooked one more but it spit the hook after that we called it a day so my dad could go to work. Had I fished the last spot earlier I probably would have caught a few more but there's always another day.
