A friend asked me to take her pink fishing and it was a great afternoon/evening. I launched at 1st Ave Street Bridge launch at 3:30pm and headed up to the Boeing foot bridge where the fishing looked hot. Anchored on the other side of the bridge away from the other boats and started catching. I hooked an landed about 9 and kept 3 in about 35min. Stilling waiting for my friend to join at 5pm, I took a break and tried trolling with downriggers set at 10-17ft. Didn't get a single takedown. Picked up my friend and headed back to my spot. She hooked one right away on the pink jig and so did I but then it died as the tide was headed out. We moved to the delta area and was hooking into them again. Finished the day with 8. They are on the small side but did get a couple 4/5lbs. Glad the fishing is picking up here so I don't have to drive to Puyallup.
