Third time is the charm. Hit up the Snohomish to continue working on my Maribou twitching technique and I can say for certain that the pieces have started falling into place. After tying up some new prototype jigs the night before, I was able to go 12/12 yesterday afternoon/evening with only one fish (number 13) not being hooked in the mouth. All fish kept under water and released just about as soon as I could get them under control. 1/4 oz pink and white. All of my successful twitching so far has been slow and methodical, with very light rod tip swing (again compared to fishing something like a buzz bomb) and making sure that the jig is on the bottom.
Respect the fish, respect the water, and respect your fellow anglers. Tight Lines!
