After seeing all those pictures of Dave's bass I thought I would take the two hour drive to silver lake from Shoreline. A friend & I camped at the state park friday a got up early to hit the lake about 6 oclock. We tried everything from many different colored spinnerbaits including white to crankbaits, Roostertails, soft plastics, Plastic frogs. Not A Bite. We left about 2 o'clock I think we saw you out there too Dave we should have asked you how to get them in the boat. We saw huge fish jumping in the pads but they didn't look like bass and if they were I have no idea what they were going after because I didn't see any bugs or anything on the surface in the pads atleast anything a bass would go after. ( what were they?) if any one knows...
