Started Fishing at 7 fished until 10, only saw a couple rolling where I was at, casted a hole for twenty min or so with nothing then moved up river and BAM! Fish on first cast and it was a nice and chrome 4lb silver. Bit small, but it's early for silvers and I did see a whale in there jumping around , couldn't hook him though. Gave it a three because it was my first silver of the year. After that first fish I could not get another to bite.... Good start rough finish. Couldn't even get a humpy after that.... Had a couple follow my gear to shore, but that was it. I hear the pinks are in heavy in some areas though. Freinds of mine catching 20+ fish in a day. I'm going to try up river tomorrow seems to be where the fish have moved to. Silvers are still slow so don't get to excited. Hopefully by the end of next week I'll be getting my silver limits again! Forgot my JIGS too!!! I think I might have been able to pull that big one out with a jig... Anyway thats my latest adventure, more to come, and posts will follow.
