Woke my dog up at 530 and headed to the duwamish river to try and catch some coho. Started fishing under the Boeing bridge near Oxbow at around 630 and saw plenty of fish jumping. Some small pinks and some pretty good sized Coho. For the next 3 hours I threw everything i had at them. Pink jigs, pink/purple/white jigs, a spoon, spinner, and even a buzz bomb.....no luck. Is there a trick to targeting Coho (or pinks for that matter) that I'm missing? I normally twitch jigs so I tried doing that fast, slow, and at medium speed. I've heard they are biting close to the bottom but the duwamish is snag central so I lost a few jigs doing that. The water was really nice so I guess that was a plus but I REALLY want to catch a Coho this year......any tips would be appreciated. Thanks!
