9/23/2015 5:04:00 PMomend not using braid because braid floats and that will mess your twitch all up. the silvers arent line shy at all, no need for flourocarbon, you want every bit of strength and durability you can get, while still able to stay on bottom. mono is by far the best for twitching near structure.

9/24/2015 4:33:00 PMI don't do jig fishing and want to get some pointer on how to do the proper jigging.
Thanks Jonb!

9/24/2015 5:33:00 PMbut 10lb is good too, 8lb is a little light for fishing near structure, you want the strength to be able to pull them out of the snaggy stuff and fight them in open water. NEVER use braid to twitch jigs. Braid floats and will make it hard to keep your jig near the bottom. I use maxima ultragreen mono exclusively for twitching. Try different color jigs, white, purple black, chartreuse, or combos of colors. Try to get away from the crowds and fish rested water. Time of day is irrelevant right now, theyre biting all day, just fish as much as you can, put your time in and practice.
