Oh is the river ever so crowded! Love meeting new people and socializing while I fish, I don't like rude intruders who don't bother to ask if they can fish next to you. Lol, by all means I don't own the river but a little respect is all I ask. Anyways, started out by floating eggs. No willing biters for 30 min so I switched to a store bought pink and black steelhead jig. Fast twitched that on the surface and immediately hooked and landed my first. Over a course of an hour I lost 2 others along with my jig. Logs = fish wrapping around em. I also landed a nice cutthroat trout on a all pink jig. After hooking into fish, that is when a few guys decided to come right next to me and even across directly and start casting in the area i hooked up in. Haha, I must say it gave me great joy to see them get snagged several times. Tight lines to you all and remeber, there is plenty of water to fish. The coho are everywhere. God Bless.
