I had a free hour today, so I headed over to Metzler to see if there was any sign of life in the water. I hiked in to the main drift, and there were a couple of folks there. Friendly crowd here this morning.
Overall, really slow, but I saw one or two guys hook into some chums, more towards the east end of the drift. Everyone was pretty much using a bobber setup. I had one good nibble my bobber, but no hookup.
No fish for me today, but it was a beautiful morning to be out here, and enjoy this section of the river. A nice change of scenery from all the fishing I did in the lower stretches of the river earlier this year for pinks/silvers; especially compared to fishing in the tidal stretches of the Duwamish, where it's not uncommon to be fishing along floating garbage!
