Met up at 4:45am with my buddies to float the sky. Great day on the water. Launched at sultan and made it to ben howard by lunch. Went 2 for 4. I hooked the first within ten minutes, my friend chad hooked into his about 30 minutes later. Mine was a 24" 6lb buck and chads was a nice 26" 7lb buck. No eggs this trip! :( About an and a half later Chad hooked into a pig. We all guessed around 20lbs. It slammed his gear and rolled to show us his side, and then happily broke everything off...We stopped once more for about an hour and I got into something for a minute or two, no arial show, so probably a smaller jack.

We fished eggs mostly. All colored corkies. Some cured prawns. Tried throwing hardware in the rif raf, no takers..Fun day. Got to see a small spay fishing demo/show on the beach.
